Welcome to Aerial Studio, a beautiful space where healthy hair and the client experience comes first.

Aerial Studio specialises in long lasting seamless colours and effortless cutting and styling while offering a premium experience from start to finish. We stock the highest quality brands, containing the finest ingredients to provide the best care for your hair in the salon and at home. We love lived-in blondes, glossy brunettes, bright coppers, enhancing natural hair and its texture, and creating the perfect blow wave. We also love looking after beautiful brides on their wedding day. We provide 1 on 1 curated appointments, as it is important to us that we listen and advise you on the best way to achieve your hair goals. We want each client to feel confident and be the best version of themselves after their experience with us.

Aerial Studio is an open space for you to have a chat, catch up on work or just relax and have a wine. Our colour table is designed for you to have a comfortable space to sit and enjoy our refreshments menu while getting your hair done (instead of staring in the mirror for hours!) Clients are more than welcome to jump on our wifi and keep up with work, a tv show or just sit back and read a book. We are here to look after you and your hair needs, and make sure that your time with us is exactly what you need.

We value sustainability and ensure that during each appointment we are doing our part for the environment.

Aerial Studio was created by Natalie Ragusa. She has a team of three queens, Steff, Carla and Bella who work closely alongside her in making Aerial Studio a beautiful client experience and the ultimate home of cool girl hair.

MEET THE TEAM

NAT

FOUNDER & CREATOR

Natalie Ragusa is the Creator and Founder of Aerial Studio. She launched her vision of a beautiful creative space in March 2020. Natalie has forever had a passion for all things hair and has spent the last 9 years in the industry perfecting her craft. She began her apprenticeship in 2014 learning from industry leaders within Australia and Internationally and has since worked alongside some of the best hair dressers and educators in the world. She is constantly learning and passing on her knowledge, educating other hair dressers in colouring and styling techniques she has learnt along the way. Nat is currently R+CO’s national styling educator. She also has worked behind the scenes at Melbourne and Sydney Fashion Week, backstage at events, concerts, festivals and produced content for large international companies. Nat has looked after countless brides on their wedding day and has had her work published in magazines. Through the years Nat has built up a very strong and loyal clientele who she adores. She looks forward to catching up with them and taking care of their hair. Nat specialises in lived-in colour work, shimmery brunettes, colour corrections and vibey styling. Nat has grown Aerial Studio over the last 3 years to a beautiful team of 4; each stylist creating beautiful colour-work that aligns with the ethos of Aerial Studio. She loves to cook and eat with family and friends and go for walks with her pup Leo.

STEFF

SENIOR STYLIST & EXTENSION SPECIALIST

Steffanie Christina is a senior colourist with over 10 years experience. Since she was young, Steff has always had a strong passion for all things hair and beauty, which led her to begin her career in the industry straight out of high school. Steff specialises in tape hair extensions and loves creating natural, lived-in colours. Her achievements have led her to work on a number of campaign shoots and she was selected as a finalist for Victoria's Loreal Colour Trophy Awards. Steff enjoys travelling in the European sun, good food and a glass of wine or two, spending time with her boyfriend, friends and family, cuddles and bites from her two babies; jack russell Indie and frenchie Louis, and watching her beloved tigers at the MCG.

CARLA

SENIOR STYLIST & SMOOTHING SPECIALIST

Carla Cariz is a senior colourist with 5 years industry experience. She has a strong passion for making people feel listened to and special through hair. Carla is our smoothing specialist and loves creating lived-in and low maintenance colours, bright blondes and sun-kissed brunettes. Carla is originally from Chile and has spent the last five years in Australia perfecting her craft. Before beginning her hair journey Carla was a professional makeup artist specialising in wedding and editorial makeup and styling. In her spare time you'll find her at home with her boyfriend cooking, watching movies and working on getting her licence!

BELLA

SALON COORDINATOR & SOCIAL MEDIA BABE

Isabella Gilbert is Aerial Studio’s salon co-ordinator & social media babe. She’ll take your calls, respond to your emails and you can always count on her to hustle you a last minute appointment. She’s our resident merch designer, website creator, latte artist and front desk queen. Outside of Aerial, Bella is a performing artist who works across theatre, dance, film, sound and spoken word. Her practice explores the relationship between the body and the voice and intersections between classical theatre and contemporary dance. In her spare time you'll find her - coffee or wine in hand - catching up with friends, family or hanging with her gorgeous greyhound Zane. Catch Bella in salon Tuesdays and Fridays.
